For the blog update this week, I would like to quickly share with you about my upcoming plans before summer.
First of all, I’m going to organise my yarn stash. With all the new yarns I bought this year, it is official that my current yarn storage system has run out of space. However, considering the last time I expanded my storage system was around a year ago, it’s not that bad, right? haha. I have decided not to buy any new yarn this year and focus on using up my stash first.
Besides, I should be able to spend more time on crocheting and blogging after May, which means I finally get to work on some new patterns and film some new videos! I’m very motivated to re-activate my Instagram account and YouTube channel this year so let’s hope that I can keep up this time!
Since I’m planning to film more videos and organise my yarn stash, I figured I might as well do a craft room makeover, just to refresh things up a bit. I already have a plan on how to rearrange the setup so I just need to find a day to work on it and film the video. To be honest, I’ve never shared anything like that before so I’m actually kind of nervous but also excited about it : )
My ideas are overflowing over the past few days. I guess my mind is also excited about summer haha. I only have two more exams to go then I’ll be freeeeeeeee! (I can’t tell enough about how much I look forward to the end of semester lol)
Please stay tuned for the next post and happy weekend : )
P.S. The photo shown above is my first attempt on crocheting a scrunchie. The yarn is from DAISO and it’s very fluffy. However, it’s way too thick for scrunchie making and ended up HUGE haha. I love the colors anyway so I kept it as a ‘home scrunchie’ for myself. I’ll try using a thinner yarn next time and we’ll see how it goes : )
