A day at the HK Disneyland

Aiden and I went to HK Disneyland last month and it was such a fun (and tiring) day lol!

To be honest, it’s been quite a while since our last visit. We used to go there a few times a year before we stopped renewing our annual passes. I guess it’s just not as exciting if you go there too often lol.

However, this time is different because of the World of Frozen! We had been super excited about it way before it’s officially launched. This whole new area was very refreshing to see, especially with the architecture and scenery!

I knew I had to take a photo of this cutie when I first saw it! I’m always impressed by all those little details inside Disneyland, and I do think they’re part of the reasons why our experiences there are always magical : )

This was taken before we took the Frozen Ever After ride, this kinda reminds me of the lantern scene from Tangled. It was so beautiful and simply relaxing to see.

Speaking of which, this ride is certainly the most memorable one we’ve ever taken, in many ways lol. Since Aiden and I are not big fans of thrill rides, it could be very scaring to try out any new rides, especially for me lol. I tried googling some reviews in advance to get myself mentally prepared. However, I got more worried as someone mentioned that this ride is more thrilling than any other rides in HK Disneyland lol.

I was both excited and anxious when queuing up, and I literally almost chickened out when it’s almost our turn to get onboard lol. Although my hands sweated a lot throughout the ride, it was still manageable, until this happened…

We sat at the last row of the boat, and my mind was blown when the last part of the ride was revealed lol. I would say I’m very proud of myself to have sat it through, considering how insane it was lol. You can tell I definitely screamed from the top of my lungs hahahaha. Once the ride was finished, the two of us were like ‘Is this okay for children to ride on?’ lol Can you imagine how horrifying it was?!

Well, it was quite a bittersweet experience and I think I’ll give it another shot, but definitely not in the near future haha.

Apart from the attractions, food is another thing we enjoy a lot at HK Disneyland.

This Mickey waffle is one of our must-haves for every visit. I especially asked for extra cream this time and it was phenomenal! How can it be this yum?!

We went there with empty bellies so a waffle is not enough for sure lol. I believe this hot dog is specially made for Halloween. I don’t know if it’s because I was too hungry but it did taste soooo good lol. Definitely loved the honey mustard sauce!

We even got to watch the parade and met with lots of characters! If I remember correctly, the last time we watched a parade should be pre-COVID. Everything is so new to see and it was amazing : )

Originally, we planned to stay until the sky gets dark for the night show, but our sore legs didn’t allow us lol. Yet we still had a great time there : )

By the way, the top I wore that day is made with some yarn I bought from DAISO during my Japan trip. Check out the vlog if you’re interested in my yarn haul : )

P.S. I took this photo when my granny square cardigan was still in progress. It’s finished now and it’s super cute! I can’t wait to show you once I have the photo ready : )
