It’s just around the corner!

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling Christmas too! (If you know this song, you know haha) This song just popped in my head when I started writing this post so I can’t leave it out : ) It’s finally my favourite time of the year and I’m super excited!

Growing up, Christmas has always been my favourite festival and I really enjoy its warm, loving and joyful vibes. I’m quite well known to be a big fan of Christmas since when I was little. When I was in high school, a friend of mine even joked about how I started singing Christmas songs in around July. But what they don’t realize is I actually sing Christmas songs all year round haha. They’re just so contagious and I just can’t resist. They makes me happy so why not : )

I also adore all kinds of Christmas decors and had always wanted a Christmas tree for myself. Unfortunately, Christmas trees take up too many space. If you know anything about the land problem here in Hong Kong, you’d know that it’s quite difficult to have a full size tree placed at home. So this has been sitting on my bucket list for quite some time now.

If you’ve been following this blog, you’d know I brought this up for a reason, right?! Yes, you’re right! I took a step back and finally got a tiny little Christmas tree this year! Yayyyyyyyy!!!! I also went all in and got a bunch of Christmas decor to match with my baby tree haha. As a newbie in this kind of home decor, I had no idea how to make it look festive and cozy.

I spent some time searching for inspiration on Pinterest, and also looked for the perfect decors online, just to create my version of Christmas decor! Now, may I introduce you, my little festive corner…

How did I do? I’m super happy with it and I can’t be more proud of myself! Aiden and I literally can’t take our eyes off it since it’s set up lol. You can imagine us playing Christmas songs while staring at the lights and everything : D

Speaking of, I take photos with everything cute and Christmassy so here’s a Mickey Mouse gingerbread house! This was taken at Hong Kong Disneyland and I wish this was more than just a photo prop! It would be indeed magical if it’s an actual small house filled with festive decors for us to get in and take photos.

I have plans for the holiday seasons and of course I’ll also be crocheting and knitting a lot : ) I’ll be back soon so stay tuned! I hope you’ll enjoy the holiday season with your loved ones and make tons of memories! Merry Christmas : D
