2025 was a year full of first-time experiences. I stepped foot in a new country, South Korea, and enjoyed a snowy winter—something I had longed for since when I was a kid. I will never forget the breathtaking scenery on the Ganghwa Luge and the Gangchon Rail Bike. Although the weather was freezing cold, it was certainly a fun and thrilling experience.

Scenery like this literally makes every photo perfect, and it’s simply amazing (and freezing) lol!

Here’s more of me in the snow haha. Our tour guide told us that it’s the most well-known tourist spot on Nami Island. Look at those wonderful tall trees!

Apart from South Korea, I also explored a new area of my favourite country, Japan. It’s interesting how Hakodate and Sapporo are complete opposites, despite being in the same island, Hokkaido. Hakodate is full of a western seaside city vibe, while Sapporo is like a blend of both Osaka and Tokyo.
Being back to Japan after 7 years felt like a homecoming. Although it was disappointing that we didn’t get to see cherry blossoms during our trip, I’m still excited to go back again someday.
As a crafter, I’m happy to say that I had a fruitful year enjoying crochet while also learning two new hobbies: beading and knitting.
Anyway, I’m thankful for all the new and precious memories made in 2025, and I can’t wait to see what awaits me in 2026! Happy new year : )
P.S. I’ll share more about these two trips and my beading projects in separate posts later!
